Het spel zal enkel op de Playstation 2 uitkomen, wat een behoorlijke domper is voor alle mensen die de console niet bezitten. Gelukkig is The Two Towers niet de enige Lord of the Rings game die uitkomt, er zijn nog zat andere developers met de ontwikkeling van deze spellen bezig.
