Geïntere eerden kunnen zich via de Rise of Nations Site aanmelden, en hebben daar nog tot maandag 15 februari de tijd voor. In een loterij zullen vervolgens de 1000 gelukkigen worden bepaald.On Friday, February 14, Rise of Nations fans will have the opportunity to enter the Rise of Nations Sneak Preview Beta Contest for a chance to win one of 1000 copies of the Rise of Nations beta. At an undisclosed time on Friday, February 14, we will publish an entry form and start taking entries. The contest will stay open from February 14 to 11 AM PST, Monday, February 17. Winners will be selected from a random drawing from all eligible entries received. Fans from around the world are invited to participate.
The Rise of Nations beta discs will contain 10 playable nations (18 nations will be included in the final game), three tutorials and the unique Conquer the World campaign. Winners will also be enrolled in the official beta, given acce to newsgroups to provide feedback, and allowed to download official beta updates. Be sure to review the system requirements below before entering.
De winnaars zullen de kans krijgen om te spelen met 10 van de 18 speelbare volken in dit epische spel van Brian Reynolds, die eerder met SId Meier verantwoordelijk was voor oa Alpha Centauri. In de Rise of Nations zal de speler de controle hebben over een natie die zich in 6000 jaar zal moeten ontwikkelen tot de machtigste ter wereld. Rise of Nations zal proberen de beste elementen van Turn-based kla iekers als Civilization en Real-time toppers als Age of Empires te combineren tot een fantastische mix. De release is gepland voor 22 april.
