De Lancers Reactor heeft negen nieuwe screenshots van Freelancer, de "opvolger" van Starlancer. De screenshots laten wat in-game actie en cutscenes zien. Starlancer zou het eerste deel in een trilogie moeten worden die het verhaal vertelde over de "Zonne Oorlogen". Het einde van Starlancer (de vernietiging van ons Zonnestelsel) is het begin van Freelancer. Beide spellen spelen zich af in het zelfde universum.

For years the Coalition and the Alliance battled for supremacy in the Solar System. As told in the game Starlancer, even while the Alliance with United States, Britain, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Japan for a short time gaining the upper hand, ultimately the Alliance a hundred years later had to admit, they where about to be defeated. Therefore they decided to build 4 gigantic sleeper-ships, filled with cryo-pods, to move a big part of their population to another sol-system and get a fresh start. Against all odds, the 4 ships make it through the Coalition blockade, and head for Sirius.
