Om de tijd tu en het goud gaan en de release, het spel komt op 5 november uit, te vullen, heeft Atari een heuse mini documentaire over de ontwikkeling van het spel online gezet. In de 4 minuten dat de trailer duurt kun je zien hoe het er in de studios van Frontier Developments aan toe gaat. Het commentaar in deze mini documentaire, die je wel 214MB gaat kosten, wordt gegeven door David Braben en John Wardly, een profe ionele achtbaan ontwerper.
