Met het wachten op Wolfenstein 3D is de intere e voor FPS'ers die zich in de tweede wereldoorlog afspelen erg hoog. En de game 'Medal of Honor: Allied A ault' kan dan ook op flink wat belangstelling rekenen.

Nu ze bij Electronic Arts helemaal aan de Quake3-engine verslaafd zijn zal ook deze game het hiermee moeten doen. En aan de screenshots te zien is het nog geeneens zo'n slechte besli ing.

As a newly recruited member of the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), you'll start off in the deserts of North Africa in 1942, where the groundwork for the inevitable invasion of Europe is set. Gradually, you'll fight the Germans in Italy, France, and ultimately Germany itself. The game throws a wide a ortment of enemy soldiers at you, including Afrika Corps officers; Wehrmacht snipers and grenadiers; SS Hund-Patroller; SS Polizei; and Gestapo officers. In all, there are 19 variants on the standard Nazi soldier. But enemies won't be limited to the human variety, either, as you'll also have to take down Stuka dive bombers, Tiger tanks, and halftracks.
