Max Payne looks simply superb, and barring a total me -up, should be a major succe when released. By adopting a movie-enhanced storyline and a third-person perspective, Remedy are doing something that has never really been attempted before. There is the horrible realization that the third-person perspective could give way to Tomb Raider style gameplay, and believe me, the world does NOT need another Lara Croft clone. If, however, they take everything in moderation and actually pull it all off, Max Payne will take gamers one step closer to heaven, and the cinema one step closer to the PC gamer.
