Het mag mi chien vreemd klinken, maar dankzij het opheffen van developer NoCliche lijkt de kans op een vervolg in de 'Little Big Adventure'-serie een stuk waarschijnlijker.

NoCliche, een team dat bestond uit mensen die de eerste twee LBA edities maakten, is nu gestopt met de ontwikkeling van de horror-titel 'Agartha' voor de Dreamcast. Dit vanwege de falende support van Sega.

Het brein achter de 'Little Big Adventure'-games 'Frederick Raynal' heeft laten weten er vertrouwen in te hebben een nieuw team op te richten waarmee LBA 3 in productie genomen zal worden.

This comes after emails from Frédérick Raynal, Creative Director of LBA, to the online fan community. The storyline of the game has already been written; entitled 'Genesis of the Stellar Entity,' it revolves around the Stellar Entity protected by the Sendells within Twinsun. Adeline says that Twinsen, Zoé and their young son Arthur will all be playable characters in the game, and that the game will have a multiplayer mode . Originally, the plan was to create the game for the Sega Dreamcast, as many of the Adeline team members are now involved in Sega-owned No Cliché. However, since the Dreamcast has now been discontinued, No Cliché has cancelled its current projects (namely, the survival horror title 'Agartha') and is up for sale. This means LBA3 would be an Adeline project and so would be made for PC. LBA3 may take 1-2 years to complete, and will probably be started around 2003. 'Little Big Adventure' is een action/adventure uit 1994 waarin je de rol speelt van een wezen met de naam Twinsen. De speelwereld is compleet 3D en de speler kan zich vrij bewegen over de verschillende lokaties, iets wat voor die tijd erg revolutionair was.

LBA 2 stamt uit 1997 en werd net als zijn voorganger een enorm succes. Dat een derde deel niet eerder verscheen is dus redelijk verbazingwekkend.
