Jetboat Superchamps review | Gamer.nl

Na eerdere trailers deze week is er een derde trailer van No Man's Sky uitgebracht.

Via Blue's News kwam ik bij deze review terecht van Jetboat Superchamps. zie hier een stukje uit de quote..For those following our showcase article in order, and who have just flipped from the previous review of Hot Chix 'n' Gear Stix, you might be thinking "two racers from the one developer in two weeks?" Indeed this is the case: two arcade racers, both by the one company, both which use the same engine tweaked and modified enough to cater for the different styles of gameplay. Moreover, both landed in the lap of the gaming community within a few weeks of each other, and left me, for the briefest of moments, wondering whether Jetboat Superchamps could pull off anything new next to it's all ready top-notch cousin. What I hadn't counted on was the rapid transformation of the average racer when taken from the bitumen and put into the murky depths of the ocean blue. Very quickly, it became apparent that JBS is to Hot Chix what MechWarrior is to Quake. That is, two games of a similar genre, yet which stand at opposite poles in terms of gameplay. In fact, aside from graphical similarities, JBS is not only different in its gameplay, but in its general feel and design, sporting anime-like characters and a "Tokyo" feel where Hot Chix relied heavily instead on the America circa-70s feel. With more than just a little in common with the Nintendo 64's Wave Race, in both feel and gameplay, JBS's far superior graphics, charming format and convenient (and trademark) distribution make it a game that few would find hard to resist.Een leuke screenie...
