Conservative estimates by the BSA/SIIA (Busine Software A ociation/Software & Industry Information A ociation) put a worldwide revenue lo in the $12.2 billion range worldwide (for busine applications only) during the year 1999, according to Peter Beruk, vice president of anti-piracy programs at SIIA.
