Vanwege de structurele schaarste van adventures (met dank aan de grote uitgevers) zou ieder vervent adventure speler onderhand wel alles willen aanpakken. Eye of the Kraken is een klein lichtje in de totale duisternis van adventureland."The Eye of the Kraken" is an adventure game in which you play Abdullah, a young ottoman official chosen to deliver a document to the empire's amba ador at the Hyade Island. At the moment of boarding the ship, he receives a letter from a friend telling him that a mysterious object has been stolen and that the author of the crime is most probably a pa enger of the Glutomax. This object is called "The eye of the kraken" and seems to be related to an obscure religious order adoring the Great Kraken. Abdullah will have to recover this object while investigating the surrounding mysteries before arriving to destination. De mensen van Absurdus hebben ook een demo van het spel online gezet, en wel hier. De demo is erg leuk om te spelen en de graphics zijn heel goed te pruimen. (who needs 3D anyways?) Toch nog iets om naar uit te kijken in deze donkere winterdagen?
