Een paar dagen geleden kon je lezen dat Medal of Honor in een nieuw soort verpakking zou zitten. Aangezien onze Amerikaanse vrienden als eerste het genot van MoHAA mochten ervaren, zijn zij ook de eerste om de nieuwe verpakking te proeven. En niet iedereen is te spreken over deze DVD-dingetjes. EvilAvatar zette de doos van Wolfenstein tegenover die van Medal of Honor aangevuld door een anti-DVD tirade.

I have to agree with people who say that this box is pretty stupid. I just don't understand why companies who put out hundreds of titles per year on console systems in DVD boxes can't get it through their heads that they need to switch to DVD's for PC titles and put everything in a DVD case.

I understand the marketing behind not switching to a format that few PC owners have in their computers - which is why it needs to be an industry wide switch to the DVD format. If that were to happen the number of PC owners with DVD drives would skyrocket overnight, since if you wanted to play games you would have to own the drive. I hope this idea is a big flop for Electronic Arts and leaves them as the only publisher out there with "tiny" boxes.Amerikanen zijn nog niet gewend aan de komst van de DVD dozen, maar er is geen ontsnappen aan.
