Snowblind Studios, de ontwikkelaar van Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, werkt momenteel aan een gelijkaardige game voor Sony. Dit spel, Champions of Norrath genaamd, speelt zich af in het EverQuest universum. Het grootste verschil met Dark Alliance is wellicht dat je nu met vijf karakters op pad kan gaan en ook online de strijd aan kan binden. De structuur van het spel is echter grotendeels gelijk gebleven:The basic structure and mechanics of Champions of Norrath are similar to those of Snowblind's previous game, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance. You'll work your way through levels, defeating enemies and interacting with non-playable characters. You'll find several different hub areas based on various locations in Norrath. Within each hub, you can venture to different locales. Each locale will have dungeons where you can defeat an a ortment of nasty creatures and collect items. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to engage in side quests, battle bo characters, and level up.
