Niemand kan meer om Rock Band heen. Zo lijkt het althans wel, nadat de Game Critics Awards (een groepje van onafhankelijke journalisten) het muziekspel hadden beloond met een heuse "Best of Show" award. Oftewel, de beste game die op de afgelopen E3 te zien én te spelen was. Daarnaast had de game ook nog de 'Best Hardware/Peripheral' en  'Best Social/Casual/Puzzle'-awards in ontvangst mogen nemen.

Rock Band rockt iedereen er hard uit

Ook BioWare's nieuwste titel, Mass Effect kreeg twee awards, te weten die van 'Best Console Game' en 'Best Role Playing Game'. Games als Crysis, Call of Duty 4 en The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass werden overigens niet vergeten: zij mogen één denkbeeldige award mee naar huis nemen. Hieronder zie je de hele lijst.
