Gisteren een mailtje van Funcom in mijn maildoos over de vorderingen aan de beta van Anarchy Online. Blijkbaar gaan ze binnenkort eindelijk uit de tweede betafase en op naar de derde...waar ook de pers eindelijk een blik krijgt op het online multiplayer wonder dat ons Everquest moet doen vergeten.

Onderstaande mail ontving ik van Funcom's PR afdeling:The holiday season is soon here, and it's time to keep you updated on the status of Anarchy Online, Funcom's promising ma ively multi-player online role playing game.

As most of you probably know, Anarchy Online goes through a four step beta test before it is ready for release this coming spring. At the moment we are

in phase two where only 600 external testers acce the playing fields. As we approach phase III, 6000 testers will be included, among them certain members of the pre .

To be more detailed, we are now finalizing the data-set of playfields, items and monsters. Our final production deadline is extended to early January. Beta CDs should then be shipped to the selected 6000 testers in mid January. It is still not to late to apply, but you better hurry up if you want to be among the lucky ones!
