GamersHQ heeft een preview geschreven over Return to Castle Wolfenstein.

Deze remake van de roots van het first person shooter genre komt binnenkort naar ons met behulp van ID's Quake3arena's engine en het hoopje talent bij Gray Matter Studios (single player) en Nerve Software (multiplayer).

Samen trachten zij een spel te realiseren met zowel een sterk single player als multiplayer ervaring.

Return To Castle Wolfenstein puts you back in the boots of William "B.J." Blazkowicz, an army ranger cooperating with the Office of Secret Actions (OSA) during World War II. Himmler, Hitler's right hand man, is the main bad guy in this game. He has a weird obse ion with the occult and is trying to create an army of undead super soldiers to help him take over the world. Your mi ion is to break out of Castle Wolfenstein, gather info on the strange things going on around that place, report your findings back to base and inevitably stop the nazi scum. The storyline is heavily based on actual facts from World War II, but they added some sci-fi flavor to keep you on the edge of your seat.
