Microsoft blijft doorgaan met de games markt bezetten. Onlangs hebben ze de exclusieve rechten verkegen om alle games van Big Huge Games te publiceren. Big Huge Games is opgericht door Brian Reynolds, die we natuurlijk kennen van Civilization II en Alpha Centauri. Eerder dit jaar maakte hij deel uit van Sid Meier's bedrijf, Firaxis Games, maar besloot toch zijn eigen bedrijf op te richten.

Zelf is hij zeer positief over de deal:"We are extremely excited to be working with Brian and the team at Big Huge," said Ed Fries, vice president of games publishing at Microsoft. "This relationship reflects our continued commitment to grow our PC games busine by working with the industry's best developers to produce top-quality games."

Voorlopig is het de bedoeling dat ze alleen PC games gaan developen, maar dat is natuurlijk geen reden om die niet ook naar de Xbox te porten
