Was het eerst Gamershell dat met het bericht kwam dat de PC versie van Grand Theft Auto 3 geen multiplayer zou bevatten, nu komt ook GTA3.com met dit bericht. Volgens de site zou een betrouwbare bron dit bevestigd hebben. Om het verlies van de multiplayer optie te compenseren zou GTA3 andere features bevatten. Welke features dit zouden zijn is ook nog onbekend.
