Zo komen Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth, Call of Duty: United Offensive, Doom 3, Half-Life 2, Kohan II: Kings of War, Madden NFL 2005, Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault, Rome: Total War, The Sims 2, Star Wars Battlefront, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005 en Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War allemaal aan bod.Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault Publisher: Electronic Arts Developer: Electronic Arts Release Date: September 2004 What to Expect: While Medal of Honor: Allied Assault set a standard for realism-based WWII FPS titles, that standard has been built upon and surpassed by titles like Call of Duty (for single player) and Battlefield 1942 (for multiplayer). This isn't deterring EA, however, as their next Medal of Honor not only changes the field of action to the Pacific Theater, but improves on almost every part of the original game. The action, for instance, is now squad-based, and advanced AI means you'll have to be ever-aware of how your actions will be supported by (or cause damage to) your squad-mates. The game engine itself has been rebuilt from scratch to incorporate the new Pacific environs, and now incorporates the detail of the Havok physics engine. Finally, Pacific Assault will include a new objective-based multiplayer mode ready to compete with the likes of Battlefield and UT2004's Onslaught. It adds up to an impressive package, indeed. Ook kijkt men in het kort nog even terug naar games die onlangs zijn uitgekomen, maar nog uitermate geschikt zijn om deze zomer te spelen, te weten: Far Cry, Ground Control II: Operation Exodus, Rise of Nations: Thrones and Patriots, Soldiers: Heroes of World War II en Unreal Tournament 2004.
