Bijna iedereen die een Amiga hebben gehad kent deze titel natuurlijk. Xenon 2 was op de Amiga een megahit van een van de beste Amiga developers, The Bitmap Brothers.

Het blijkt dat The Bitmap Brothers nu speciaal voor het Engelse blad PC Format een speciale versie van Xenon hebben gemaakt met de titel Xenon 2000.The Bitmap Brothers announced today that it has programmed and designed an exclusive level of Xenon 2000 for Future Publishing's PC Format magazine. Readers will be guided into recreating the level themselves in a step-by-step six-month course serialized within the magazine. The graphics for the Xenon 2000 level were created by The Bitmaps' Mark Coleman, who was the artist behind the original Xenon 2, Gods and Z, while the programming was handled by John Phillips, who is responsible for Z2's 3D engine. The game and level design were by Ed Bartlett, and the audio was provided by Chris Maule, who is also working on the in-game audio for Z2. The first part of the series will be published in the November i ue of PC Format, on sale Oct. 20.

Vooral het geluid was perfect bij deze titel. De soundchip van de Amiga is tien jaar lang ongeëvenaard geweest.
