Magic: The Gathering, een kaartspel wat wereldwijd duizenden fans heeft en zeer verslavend is. Begin volgend jaar komt er ook een online versie van het spel, welke alle features zou moeten bevatten die het kaarspel zo verslavend maakt.

IGn heeft een uitgebreide preview geschreven van de game. De schrijver, een oud-Magicverslaafde, is erg enthousiast over de game en verwacht dan ook dan alle Magicfans als een blok zullen vallen voor het spel. Een stukje uit het artikel :

When you're actually playing, it's just like the real life version and set up like you would see on a normal table. You can change the background where your cards sit and see small graphical shots when players are hurt or healed, but don't expect a battleche type of experience here. With so many different cards, it would be close to impo ible to provide that many graphics. At the side of each player's table there is a table showing how many cards are left in each deck, how many are in the graveyard where cards are discarded or put out from play, how many are in each player's hand, and how much life each combatant still has. For everyone's ease of vision, arrows will point when certain cards target other cards so that everyone knows what exactly is happening right away. Also, at any time during the game, you can run your mouse over whatever cards are in play, both for you and your opponent(s), and the card will appear in the top left corner of the screen so you can see what it does.
