Vroegâh, toen wij allemaal nog kleine kindertjes waren, die zoet naar papa en mama luisteren en braaf de grote steden van Nederland met topografie leerden, waren animatiefilms nog volledig getekend. Nu zijn bijna alle grote animatiefilms met de computer gerenderd en kijken we vol 3D genot naar films als Toy Story, Finding Nemo en Shrek. Van deze laatste film komt in mei een vervolg uit, wat tegenwoordig bij een beetje grote productie betekent dat we ook een game mogen verwachten.

Gelijknamig aan de film, wordt Shrek 2 een actie-adventure titel, waarin je naast de groene Shrek, ook negen andere characters kunt besturen - waaronder natuurlijk de eigenzinnige ezel Donkey en de bloedmooie Prince Fiona. Het spel wordt voor zo'n beetje alle platformen ontwikkeld en is vandaag vast te aanschouwen op wat screenshots:
