After three weeks of hard work, Brandon Reinhart brought the engine up and running in bare-bones form, and he's now working on input, file management, and scripting. I've taken over the Playstation2 renderer and am working on texture mapping and blending. The next couple of months will be exciting, as the console engine goes from "working, but just barely" (as it is now) to "playable" to "kickass".
So far, we're thrilled with the Playstation2 and with Sony's development support. Consoles will be a big priority for Epic from this point forward.
