De Northern Brigade is waarschijnlijk de oudste Battlefield 1942 clan in de wereld. De clan werd al lang voordat het spel verscheen opgericht. Onlangs werd het einde van de clan aangekondigd, maar het is geen definitief einde, want de clan zal met Battlefield 2 weer helemaal terugkomen. Om de clanleden eens lekker te verwennen, feedback van de communitiy te krijgen en de fans te laten zien hoe cool Battlefield 2 is, besloot EA de Northern Brigade voor een uitgebreide betatest uit te nodigen. Naast het nodige testwerk had men ook nog tijd om 2 coole ingame video's maken.Cla es- There are 7 different kits/cla es to choose from. No big surprises, but there were some kits that stand out as different. Two kits, the Medic and Support kits, lets you heal/revive people and also drop ammo for other players – both of which will score points for that player . The Special Forces kit has a c4 and the laser designator that works together with airborne forces. In the spawn menu you see a bar that displays the ability of each cla to sprint (all can sprint, the bar just shows for how long they can do it). Depending on what weapon your guy is using the spread/deviation is different, also taking into consideration your position.
