Laatste tijd veel nieuws rond de Tomb Raider film, met Angelina Jolie (sorry geen foto's deze keer ) in de hoofdrol. Een paar dagen geleden is het echte filmen (alle binnen-opnames worden in Londen gefilmt, alle anderen in Cambodia en Ijsland) begonnen. Er is ook wat meer bekend over de casting:As shooting begins, a few of the additional casting details are being announced. The arch villain in the film, Powell, adversary of Lara Croft's father, Lord Croft, and now Lara's sworn enemy, will be played by stage actor Iain Glen, who's probably best known as the leading man opposite Nicole Kidman in the London version of "The Blue Room."

Daniel Craig, meanwhile, has snagged the role of Lara's occasional accomplice. Craig has appeared in Elizabeth, I Dreamed of Africa, Some Voices and Hotel Splendide. And Leslie Phillips has been cast as Wilson, a former admirer of Lord Croft who has now turned against him and joined forces with Powell.
