Het door Gamespot in de wereld gebrachte nieuwtje dat Thief 3 ALLEEN multiplayer zou zijn is niet waar getuige de volgende post op de TTLG's Thief2 forum's:...Listen up, they goofed bigtime. Thief 3 will NOT be multiplayer only. Thief 3 will continue the story of the first two games.
Thief Multiplayer will manifest itself in one of the following ways:
- A mutliplayer expansion pack for Thief 2
- Thief 2 Gold with multiplayer support
- A stand alone Thief Multiplayer product, using the Thief 2 engine.
It could be any one of those three, or maybe something else... but:
Be clear on the fact that Thief III will not be a multiplayer only game
