The developer of the game is Mythos Games company, who created such games as X-Com: Enemy Unknown (Defense), X-Com 2: Terror from the Deep, X-Com 3: Apocalypse, Magic & Mayhem and Magic & Mayhem: Art of Magic.

At present moment Mythos Games is developing a tactical game of new generation - The Dreamland Chronicles: Freedom Ridge (further called Dreamland).

What is Dreamland?

Dreamland is epical 3D turn-based strategy with developed tactical combat system. The game is dedicated to mankind war vs deep space invaders, sauran race.

Is Dreamland the sequel to X-Com?

Dreamland is separate project. The only relation to X-Com is common genre, tactics. Dreamland absorbed many things implemented by X-Com, but basically this game is summary of Mythos Games developers longstanding experience of strategy (and tactics) game creation. Dreamland is not X-Com remake. De echte X-Com remake moet nog komen, maar tot die tijd zal The Dreamland Chronicles: Freedom Ridge de fans wel bezig moeten kunnen houden.
