Halo, wie kent deze titel niet. Gehyped en veel belovend het is nu nog maar wachten op de release. De laatste filmpjes van de e3 waren erg leuk om te zien. De Ai lag behoorlijk hoog met het schuilen en vechten en het detail was ook adembenemend. Er werd vooral door het filmpje geschreeuwd toen ze de zon achter de boom zagen verdwijnen. En dat is natuurlijk niet verwondelijk want het zag er echt prachtig uit.

Elke week verteld het Halo team waar ze mee bezig zijn geweest, dat komt dit keer uit op dit lijstje.- Stephen is reworking the flamethrower animation and working out animations for one of the other weapons added last week.

- Chucky has beaten the pathfinding code into a nearly-final state.

- Matt Segur did lots of sound stuff for Marty and Jay.

- Marty and Jay, thrilled with their new powers, spent the week placing ambient sounds and looping music tracks - new music, as yet unheard outside the Bungie offices. They also have Doppler shifts working.

- Cortana has these nifty light patterns that ripple over her body.

- The Mighty Chris Butcher has done the work nece ary for AIs to fight in midair. He's also created a bunch of tools for Jaime to use when populating the human ship and a igning behaviors to its inhabitants.

- Jaime is halfway done with the training level.

- John is busy dealing with some control i ues and working with the Sin-O-MatiXXX team to get a final list of all the mi ion-specific cutscenes.

- Bernie put in a new lens flare that I have not seen but have heard wondrous things about.

- Detail objects are back in the game.

Ik vindt FPS games op de console altijd even wennen qua controls. Het gaat altijd langzamer dan op de pc en soms zit je nog naast de controls ook met je zweet handen. Dit is natuurlijk een kwestie van oefenen, GoldenEye had ik na een tijdje ook wel door. Volgende week meer Halo nieuws.
