Er gingen eerst geruchten dat Battle Plan, de level addon voor SWAT 3 inclusief multiplayer patch, gecanceled was. Er zou een SWAT 3: Elite edition komen. Deze bevat SWAT 3: Close Quarters Battle (de game zelf) en SWAT 3: Battle Plan. Sierra heeft nu naar buiten gebracht dat deze geruchten niet helemaal kloppen. De Elite edition komt er inderdaad, maar Battle Plan komt er ook. Battle Plan kun je alleen niet in de winkels krijgen, maar wel gratis downloaden! Dus niet alleen de multiplayer patch maar heel Battle Plan! Sierra praat over Battle Plan maar niet over de 6 nieuwe mi ies helaas, dus dat wordt nog even afwachten...If you go to SWAT3's Official Site you'll see that they have confirmed that the cancellation of Battle Plan was just a rumor. On the front page they have also confirmed that owners of the original SWAT3 will be able to upgrade to Elite Edition free of charge, which includes the multiplayer feature and the toolkit. The one thing they have not mentioned is the 6 new mi ions, which they haven't confirmed will be free for owners of the original SWAT3. I'll keep you posted on that.I would also like to note that the release of Elite Edition and the free downloads have been delayed from August 2000, to Fall 2000.
