Activision heeft vandaag de stemacteurs voor haar high-profile game True Crime: Streets of L.A. bekend gemaakt. Dat men ook dit aspect van de game niet wil laten falen blijkt uit de indrukwekkende lijst namen. Zo zullen onder andere Christopher Walken (Deer Hunter, True Romance, Catch Me If You Can), Gary Oldman (Lèon, True Romance, Air Force One), Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs, Die Another Day), Michelle Rodriguez (Resident Evil, Fast and the Furious), Ru ell Wong (Romeo Must Die) en Ron Perlman (Enemy at the Gates) hun steentje bijdragen om van True Crime een genot voor het oor te maken.

Als het aan Activision ligt zal True Crime: Streets of L.A. een misdaadgame worden die de GTA reeks in het niets doet verdwijnen. Zo zal in True Crime het resultaat van je mi ie doorspelen in de volgende mi ies waardoor het verhaal steeds anders zal gaan verlopen. Ook heeft men heel L.A. tot in detail proberen na te bouwen:Inspired by Hong Kong action flicks and American crime dramas, True Crime: Streets of L.A. puts the player in the shoes of Nick Kang, a rogue ex-cop whose personal vendetta with the L.A. underground nets him as many enemies with the "Force" as with the syndicates he's sworn to destroy. Developed by Luxoflux, the creators of the succe ful Vigilante 8 series, the game blends multiple genres into a single cinematic game. Action in True Crime: Streets of L.A. blends seamle ly between car chases, shootouts, foot pursuits and hand-to-hand combat as players try to take down the mob. Additionally, the game allows players to explore a living, breathing re-creation of the City of Angels, complete with hundreds of miles of authentic streets and popular L.A. landmarks.True Crime: Streets of L.A. wordt in de herfst van 2003 verwacht en zou wel eens potten kunnen gaan breken.
