Gamespot weet te melden dat er een Startopia demo is verschenen. Deze demo bevat 5 tutorials en de 1e mi ie van het volledige spel.

Startopia is een simcity-achtig spel waarbij de Gamer een ruimtestation moeten runnen. Daarbij moet hij rekening houden met allerlei soorten Aliens die daar willen wonen. Ondertu en moeten er ook nog wetenschappelijke ontdekkingen worden gedaan en moet je je ruimtestation verdedigen. Want niet alle aliens zijn even aardig .There are nine different alien races, all with varying skills and needs, but they don't all get along. They range from super-intelligent, two-headed aliens, to fat, slug-like creatures who leave a nasty trail wherever they go. Each alien has three main attributes in the form of body, soul and mind, and can be persuaded to contribute to the construction of the station. The two-headed aliens make great scientists, but as they are peace-loving folk, you have to exert your influence to turn one, say, into a mad scientist who is happy to build powerful weaponry.
