Starcraft is al een van de oudere RTS titels, maar nog steeds een van de beste. Na patch 1.07 is het een tijdje stil gebleven. Maar 1.08 komt eraan en er schijnt al een beta van geleaked zijn. Ik ben benieuwd hoe dit de gameplay zal doen veranderen en hoe de community dit zal ontvangen.Our Korean buddy Killer_563 (I gather Starcraft is um, big in Korea) let us know of a post to Battle.net's Starcraft forums by Blizzard's GFraizer with more on the Starcraft v1.08 patch that was leaked to the internet. Dig it:

The Starcraft 1.08 Patch that is floating around is an alpha version of the patch. This is not the final version of this patch and it is not playable over Battle.net and is not supported by Blizzard. We strongly suggest you wait for the final version.

I've seen some balance changes that people are pa ing around are not in fact real balance changes. Many, however, are true. The Lurker Cost change for example only applies to the cost to enable the morphing of Lurkers and is not the cost to morph a Hydralisk into a Lurker.

With that said we are not listing the final official balance changes or any other changes until the Patch is released. There is no ETA for the patch.

Wanneer Patch 1.08 komt is nog de vraag, maar hij zal komen. Dat houdt in dat iedereen dadelijk deze patch moet gebruiken.

Maar Starcraft blijft een topper en ik kijk dan ook uit naar deel 2.
