Microsoft heeft een demo op het internet geplaatst van Rise of Nations: Thrones and Patriots, de uitbreiding van het succesvolle Rise of Nations. In de demo krijgen we een voorproefje van de nieuwe ra en uit de uitbreiding.

Totaal zijn er vier ra en aanwezig in de demo, waarvan de Persians nieuw is voor Thrones and Patriots. Verder kunnen we oefenen met Alexander de Grote, in zijn mi ie om de toemalig bekende wereld te veroveren. Mocht dat nog niet voldoende zijn, ook kan je oefenen met drie willekeurige maptypes, voor een custom game. Microsoft has released a demo for Big Huge Games' 'Rise of Nations: Thrones and Patriots'. The demo features four nations: the Persians from the expansion pack, and three others from the original game. Players will be able to play through the tutorial and then get a taste of the Alexander the Great campaign, one of four historical campaigns in the retail version. Gamers will also be able to try their hand on the battlefield on one of three different random map types.
