The Washington court refused to consider Sony's appeal against an earlier decision which had stated Connectix's activities were protected under the “fair use doctrine” which permits the copying of software when nece ary to understand the way a program works. The Virtual Game Station, which was at the centre of the dispute, allows PlayStation games to be run on PCs.
Sony said it spent three years and $500 million to develop PlayStation and now faces direct competition from a company that spent only $150,000 in development costs.Een ezel stoot .....
