While the game is still fondly remembered today, Hubbard still feels the final product could have been better. “The best I can say about Shogo is that it's a good prototype of the game we wanted to make. I think it ended up being pretty fun and I'm proud of what we achieved under the circumstances, but "pleased" isn't really a word I'd use to describe my feelings about any aspect of the final product. We were simply too inexperienced to realize how ambitious we were being.” Still, he is glad that Shogo still has a solid fan base. “Obviously, it's very gratifying. Our main goal has always been to entertain people, so it's nice to know that we were successful even on a modest scale.”
