PC Fan heeft in een gekke bui gekeken naar Sanity. Volgens hun een Action/Adventure Isometric view, mmh...

In ieder geval kan je hem hier bekijken. The game plays with top down view- something like Diablo or the old Ultima VII games. But where those games are played with sprites, Sanity uses polygons to give their game a more realistic look and darker feel. Real time and colored lighting casts its light on surrounding structures, almost lovely in a techno-gothic way. Sanity also gives you the ability to move the camera angle around for the best viewpoint, or use the camera panning for dramatic moments in the game. The game is fully Direct3D compatible, so all of the eye candy we have seen from Shogo and Blood will reappear.

The game takes place 30 years from now, when people wake up one morning to find that they have developed Talents, the ability to generate energy fields from their minds. Naturally, this can't be a good thing as people suddenly have the ability to blow things up just by thinking about it. It gets worse- it seems that the very use of a Talent makes people insane, causing either their head to explode from the pressure, or to take out entire buildings when trying to return something without a receipt.
