Gathering of Developers today sent a note apologizing for Rune-ing our day. All right, bad pun, so perhaps these Rune character images the Gathering released will ease the pain. Each Thursday, Human Head Studios will release two brand new Rune screenshots, pieces of character art or in-game cinematics from its upcoming PC release, due out in June 2000. Rune is a third-person action and adventure title steeped in Norse mythology and high-fantasy. It combines melee combat and exploration with a colo al story and an active environment. Rune will be based on Unreal technologies.
