Eerder verscheen er al een demo van Real War al op één van de CD's die bij het gamingblad PC Gamer wordt geleverd, Tucows heeft vandaag de moeite genomen om de demo ook op het internet te publiceren.

Real War is een real time strategy game uit het huis van Rival Interactive. De speler voert het commando over een leger wat bestaat uit een verzameling high-tech units zoals F16's, Tactical nuclear weapons en T80's. Naast deze units zijn er ook nog land-, zee en luchtunits te bespelen.All the air, land, and sea units in Real War are based on real military vehicles, so strategy fans will no doubt recognize the F16 fighter planes, M1 tanks, and other units. The game's 24 mi ions (12 for each faction) take place in jungle, desert, and arctic environments. The backgrounds in each of these environments are 2D, but the vehicles move over the landscape in full 3D, and different terrains will require different strategies. Typical mi ion objectives will include rescuing hostages, escorting planes to their destinations, and other objectives related to the campaign.
