Er is weer een nieuwe mod uitgekomen voor Quake III. Nightbreed (de makers van de mod)heeft een nieuwe functie aan het bestaande spel toegevoegd, namelijk het upgraden van je wapens.This mod is mostly just like regular deathmatch except that players can enter the command "w_upgrade" into the console to upgrade their weapons. When entered in the console, ALL weapons are upgraded, except the gauntlet which is not affected. There are 2 upgrades meaning a total of 3 weapon damage levels, therefore, entering the command once will upgrade to level 3, again upgrades to level 3, then entering the 3rd time goes back to level 1 (normal).
