Vandaag kondigde Sanyo Electric aan dat ze een monitor hebben gemaakt die ook input van een PS2 ondersteunt:Sanyo Electric recently announced that their "Liquid Crystal Media-Monitor" will accept S-Video and RGB input, making it fully compatible with the PlayStation 2. These new input ports, which usually are not found on computer monitors, will allow the monitor to work with the PlayStation 2. The product is only available in Japan by mail-order, and will cost approximately US$930, or 98000 Yen. The monitor will support a maximum resolution of 1024x768 pixels, and, some say, may help the PS2 evolve into a workstation-like computer.
