De allereerste review van Postal 2 is online verschenen bij IGN en we kunnen kort zijn: het spel zuigt. De belangrijkste minpunten zijn de slechte sounds, de vreselijke saaie gameplay en het spel is veel te moeilijk. En het ergste is nog dat de reden waarom de game leuk zou moeten zijn, het zinloos afschieten van mensen, juist het saaiste onderdeel van het spel is.

ok sorry guys i was watching a movie and i just read that shite!! anyways, there is some load times....some are worse then others but i can GUAREN-FUCKINGTEE that even on the shittest machine it is NOT anywhere near a minute and a half!!! No its not EASY to die, but that depends on you! if you go running around paradise with a shovel or a tazer and a cop spots you, or someone with balls, then ya youll fuckin die!! if your not smart with your POSTAL GOING then you will die, just like in GTA you would die if you did anything wrong and werent smart about it! and btw, PC zone gave it a 67 and PC zones ratings are much differant!! scott, the reviewer, actually enjoyed the game and did not give it a 67! PC zone did and they didnt have a copy of the game. and a 50 on PC zone is avg BTW!!~ [
Verder laat Mike Jaret weten dat de reviewer geen fan is van het spel, iets wat bij een spel als Postal het verschil kan maken. Je houdt ervan of je haat het namelijk.
