Op de site van de Wizards of the Coast, die slimme belgen van D&D en o.a. Magic the Gathering staat sinds kort een beschrijving van de diverse "area's" die we terug kunnen vinden in het nog komende spel Pool of Radiance II. Voor de leken onder ons, Pool of Radiance II wordt een RPG met 3de editie D&D regels (net als Neverwinter Nights) welke in ontwikkeling is door Stormfront studio's. The first of these is none other that the structure that stands in the heart of the ruined city, Castle Cormanthor. Once a beautiful bastion made by elves, the castle has seen better days -- sadly, it has fallen into of a state of ruin and despair. Broken gla attests to once-proud stained gla windows. Crumbling buttre es and shattered flagstones hint at the remarkable architecture that adorned the halls and courtyards.

Stormfront belooft dat de speler 4 characters kan creëren in een party van maximaal 6, de level cap ligt op 16 en men mag tot level 8 met de toverspreuken.

Of dit geheel nu veel beter zal zijn dan Baldurs Gate II? we zullen zien.
