De Vita-versie is cross-compatbile met de PlayStation 3-versie van de game, waardoor Vita- en PS3-gebruikers het tegen elkaar kunnen opnemen. In de game kunnen spelers met elkaar op de vuist met onder meer Kratos van de God of War-games, Fat Princess van de Fat Princess-games en met Sweet Tooth van Twisted Metal. Twee nieuwe personages werden aangekondigd: Nathan Drake uit Uncharted en Big Daddy uit Bioshock.
