Ubi Soft en Fox Interactive hebben gisteren een samenwerking aangekondigd die ervoor moet zorgen dat Planet of the Apes ook als video games verschijnt.

De spellen zijn gebaseerd op het kla ieke boek van Pierre Boulle, "Planet of the Apes". Het spel zal een action-adventure worden die deze maand voor de PC zal verschijnen en in november ook op de GAME BOY Advance en de GAME BOY® Color te spelen zal zijn.“Signing with Visiware and Fox, a well-known partner in the movie and interactive industries, enables Ubi Soft to pursue its strategy of creating games from strong properties”, said Alain Corre, Managing Director for Europe, Asia Pacific and South America, Ubi Soft Entertainment. “The games are sure to surprise and thrill even the most diehard fans of Planet of the Apes!”

Based on its license from Visiware, Ubi Soft is developing the GAME BOY® Color and GAME BOY Advance versions of the game. The GAME BOY® Advance version will utilize the console's advanced features combining extraordinary graphics special effects, scrolling effects, and photo-quality images. The PC and PlayStation® versions are developed by Visiware.
