The folks at GameSpy.com have learned that former id employee, Paul Steed is doing contract work for Rogue Entertainment. Here's the goods: Planet Quake's very own Hellchick is in Mesquite, Texas, this week chatting with the folks at id Software. She relayed back to us an interesting tidbit from id CEO Todd Hollenshead: Paul Steed is doing contract work for Rogue Entertainment, which happens to be right around the corner from id's offices. Rogue is working on American McGee's Alice, and has also done mission packs for the Quake series. Barrett Alexander, CEO at Rogue, confirmed that Steed was indeed handling some work for them. "Paul is augmenting our staff and doing some character animation work for the team," Alexander said. "He is helping us stay on track." When asked if Rogue was looking to hire Steed, Alexander said "Paul is exceptional at what he does," but said the decision was up to Steed "to see what he wants to do." Steed was fired from id earlier this month.
