Onlangs verscheen Battlefield 1942 update 1.45. Het updaten naar deze versie blijkt voor sommige gamers niet zonder problemen te gaan. Heb je BF1942 eerst gepatched met update 1.4, toen de gratis map Battle of Brittain geinstalleerd en dan geprobeerd om de 1.4-1.45 update te installeren, dan kreeg je waarschijnlijk een foutmelding. EA heeft nu voor deze speciale gevallen een nieuwe update online gezet. De nieuwe 50MB zware update kun je via de FTP van EA downloaden.CLIENT FIXES

Land vehicles will not respawn if player is too close to spawnpoint.

Def Gun now has shell icon instead of rocket.
