Op de DICE Summit werden prijzen uitgedeeld aan de beste games van vorig jaar. Overwatch won vier prijzen, waaronder de Game of the Year 2016. Ook Uncharted 4: A Thief's End won ook vier prijzen, voor het verhaal en de technische prestaties.
Ook werden er twee nieuwe prijzen uitgereikt, Immersive Reality Game of the Year en Immersive Reality Technical Achievement, die gingen respectievelijk naar Superhot VR en Eagle Flight, twee virtual reality-games.
