No Man's Sky uitgebracht.

The Xbox has given NVIDIA unique opportunities to innovate in terms of technology and performance with the NVIDIA XGPU and the MCPX chipset powering the console. Even though they share PC components in hardware and software, the Xbox architecture is superior to the PC architecture. Has NVIDIA effectively shot itself in the foot with such as high performance product?

Mike Hara: Quite the opposite. Although the Xbox is based on a PC architecture, it is highly integrated and more powerful than low-cost PCs offered today. We will leverage the Xbox architecture back into the PC market and redefine the value PC. Just because the majority of consumers cannot afford to buy the most expensive PC available, it doesn't mean that they wouldn't like to perform the same tasks. In fact, today's average consumers are becoming power users as they incorporate more digital technology in their lives. High-quality 3D graphics, digital video, audio and still images are all being incorporated into content of all types. Ultimately, we all want a rich user experience no matter the platform or form factor. In the not so distant future, we will be able to help produce a new generation of computing platforms that deliver awesome multimedia experiences at very low costs.
