Met de release in het zicht wordt er steeds meer over Max Payne geschreven. Een kort overzicht van wat er allemaal te vinden is.

Op MaxPayne.nl is een filmpje verschenen over 1 van de wapens in de 3th persion action shooter.Ondanks de korte duur van het slechts 15 seconde lange filmpje kan je wel goed de werking van de handgranaat zien. Zeker de moeite waard om te downloaden.

Op PC.IGn en Gamespot zijn ook nog een filmpje's verschenen met ingame beelden. Ook deze filmpje's zien er lekker uit

Ondertu en zijn er ook weer een berg previews verschenen op een geba eerd op een recente build van het spel. Een uitgebreide preview met 4 nieuwe screenshots en interview met Remedy's Petri Järvilehto is te vinden op Stomped. Daarnaast zijn er nog previews te vinden op Shacknews, Gamespy, IGn en GamespotUsing these weapons provides definite moments of pleasure. Once I got used to the Molotov cocktails, I was able to easily turn up the heat on the bad guys without singing Max's threads. The double barrel shotgun is a good way to imbue thugs with lead, but is not a wise choice for a packed house due to reloading after every squeeze of the trigger. The dual Ingrams chew through the rounds like they are candy, but provide a fix for everybody's sweet tooth. The sniper rifle has a bit of realistic touch by way of slight motion when zoomed in on the target. There will be no quick snap snipes in this game, unle you are ready to expend several rounds. I found it added to the gratification when I got a solid hit. The other thing that made a sniper hit satisfying was the slow motion behind-the-bullet-cam on a bullet when it struck the person. The coolne of that feature cannot really be described. Ammo is handled in typical game fashion of reloading reducing the ammo count by the amount needed to refill the magazines. In other words, premature reloading is okay and a wise move in Max's world of he who runs out of ammo, dies a slow, painful death.Het filmpje van de grenade is te vinden bij Fileplanet. Tevens hebben we uit betrouwbare bron mogen vernemen dat het bijna zeker is dat Max Payne 27 juli in Nederland aankomt. Nog maar eventjes geduld dus
