Er is weer een Dune revival aan de gang. Westwoord die werkt aan Emperor: Battle for Dune, de mini-serie op de Amerikaanse TV en nu ook een Dune RPG. Een tijd geleden was er al een Dune RPG. Niet zo baanbrekend als Dune 2 maar zeker niet verkeerd.

Het gaat dus om een papieren RPG en geen computergame .

Wizards of the Coast has updated its product schedule through August 2001, and thus confe ed the release of a new Dune role-playing game in May.

This may be in response to the enormous interest gamers had in Last Unicorn's Dune:Chronicles of the Imperium, which did not reach many stores due to the Wizard buyout of Last Unicorn as the game was going to pre .

In Spring 2001 it will see wide publication as the Dune Roleplaying Game, -- one of the most recognized and detailed science-fiction settings of all time!
