QRI was the main driving force behind AntiCheater.com, originally an idea by That Hurt (Host of CS-Radio) to stop cheating in Quakeworld after the source code was released in December of 1999. It has been brought to life by these fellow Quake players: Pa-Vian, originally coded the first QRI client / server piece in Visual Basic. Rico provided Pa-vian with help for GameSpy integration in the first client. Our current coder is Yanster, who was coding the C version of QRI. After a succe full Beta, the project was offically discontinued due to personal reasons.
The current plan is to port the code to Half-Life and start develping a solution for all current and future cheats.
